MARKET-TYPE BAGS
A characteristic feature of this type of bags is the upper fold. On the 7 cm section from the upper edge, the bag has double film layer in which a handle opening is cut. The fold is a kind of reinforcement.
- FILM TYPE - LDPE film or layered LDPE with HDPE or with MDPE - from 35µ to 80µ
(LDPE – fthe film is soft, plastic, springy, slightly extensible with gloss; HDPE i MDPE – fhe film is harder, more stiff, non-extensible, semi-matte) MDPE – a lower density variety of HDPE.
- FILM COLOR - colorless film (transparent), mass-dyed
(white through a whole range of colorants according to SCHULMAN, AMPACET color charts).
- PRINTING - simple vector graphics on mass-dyed film, CMYK prints, CMYK/PANTONE (combined) prints – PHOTOREALISTIC (high line count), flexography printing up to 8 colors one-sided or two-sided
The print design should "take into account" the fixing seal of the upper fold, which in the case of flat uniform pantone backgrounds or images may distort the final appearance of the bag. The graphics should be designed in such a manner, that neither the inscriptions nor the logo elements, etc. should be placed at the sealing seam or the lower fold seam (if there are any in the bag).

In the case of bags that are narrower than the roller circumference, double (or more) matrices applications are used, i.e. two bag widths are printed with a single spin, e.g. the lowest width of the market bag to be made is 200mm (2x on a 400mm roller) - these ones usually have no upper fold.
